ABOUT BATTERSEA PARK FITNESS

Small Classes. Big Results. All Outdoors.

Battersea Park Fitness was born out of a simple belief: fitness should feel personal, effective, and energising—not overwhelming, overcrowded, or confined to four walls. Founded by a highly experienced personal trainer with decades in the industry, BPF is built for real people who want real results—without the pressure of a traditional gym. We offer small group classes (maximum 6 people) in the heart of Battersea Park, combining expert instruction with a sense of community and space to move freely in nature. We specialise in outdoor Personal Training, Strength/Weightlifting, Pilates, and Yoga classes designed to help you feel stronger, move better, and enjoy exercise again. Whether you're building muscle, improving core strength, or finding your flow, every session is thoughtfully programmed and led by passionate instructors who see you, not just the group.

Pilates & Yoga

Edit

With over 20 years of experience in both Pilates and yoga, Edit brings a unique depth of knowledge and calm confidence to every class. Her dual expertise allows her to seamlessly integrate strength, mobility, flexibility, and breathwork into sessions that are both purposeful and empowering.

Edit is known for her precise instruction, intuitive teaching style, and ability to adapt movements to suit each individual. Whether you're building core strength through Pilates or finding balance and flow in yoga, her sessions are designed to leave you feeling stronger, more mobile, and more connected to your body.

Her approach blends classical principles with a modern understanding of movement — ideal for anyone looking to improve posture, manage stress, or move with greater ease in daily life.

Pilates

Shoku

With a Master’s in Health Administration and a personal journey through limited mobility, Shoku brings both empathy and expertise to every Pilates session. Her own challenges with spinal and hip flexibility sparked a passion for movement and recovery, leading her to pursue fitness qualifications and ultimately train as a Pilates instructor at St Mary’s University in London.

Shoku’s classes focus on building core strength, flexibility, and joint mobility — all underpinned by strong breathing techniques. She believes Pilates is not just exercise, but a mindful connection between body and mind — and it should be fun, too.

Shoku is also qualified in pre- and post-natal Pilates, helping women prepare their bodies for labour and recover with strength and confidence after birth.

Pilates

Aleks

Aleks is a certified mat Pilates instructor celebrated for her dynamic, high-energy classes that blend traditional Pilates principles with a modern, athletic edge. Known for her creative sequencing, razor-sharp focus on form, and deep core activation, Aleks crafts each session to challenge both body and mind. Her flows are designed to build functional strength, enhance posture, and boost mobility — all while delivering that unmistakable Pilates burn. With a motivating presence and a passion for movement, Aleks brings a fresh, empowering take on Pilates that keeps you moving with purpose and leaving class stronger, longer, and more energised.

Pilates

Marnie

Marnie is a fully qualified Classical Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor based in South London, bringing warmth, precision, and deep knowledge to every session she leads. With a lifelong love for movement and body awareness, she discovered Pilates as a practice that not only builds physical strength and flexibility, but also fosters a profound connection between mind and body.

Her teaching is rooted in classical Pilates principles, focusing on controlled, low-impact movement that challenges the core, improves posture, and enhances overall alignment—without placing stress on the joints. She believes Pilates should be both empowering and sustainable, making it an ideal practice for all bodies at any stage of life.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or you’re an experienced mover looking to deepen your practice, Marnie is committed to helping you feel strong, aligned, and confident in your movement. Her classes are known for their clear cueing, thoughtful sequencing, and supportive energy.

Marnie creates a space where clients feel seen, encouraged, and challenged—in the best way. Expect to leave her sessions feeling taller, more balanced, and fully connected to your body.
